Rev. Keith Lawson was born here in Stokes County and lived here all his life other than time in college. He is came to Snow Hill July 2020 as a part time pastor to complete his Respiratory Care Practitioner career at LifeBrite Hospital . He has been the full time pastor since March 2021. Keith is currently enrolled in the Course of Study required of local pastors serving in the UMC Conference. His service to Snow Hill is in the capacity of a Locally Licensed Pastor.
Keith has degrees from Chowan University and Forsyth Tech Community College. He studied Chemistry at UNC Chapel Hill until he was awarded a Rotary Exchange scholarship and he completed his senior year at the University of Tasmania in Australia.
He has been married to his wife Sherrie for over 30 years. They have a grown daughter Morgan. All three of them served as volunteers for Lawsonville Fire Department for many years.
